Her gentle mounds, her sleek curves, her mesmerising crooked lines, invite my dry & withered soul to drink from her beauty

She’s elegant, but not in a conventional way. She makes grown men cry in search of water, bringing them to their knees, lamenting their souls

She’s life giving, life taking, endless rolling curves constantly in flux & change.

Just when you think you have her figured put, she’ll change the wind, bringing you back to a place of humility, never understanding her & undermining her very powerful existence

She knows how to take at her will, tiny creatures sacrificing themselves to her delicious hunger. Beauty flourishes everywhere, even amid her dry & barren textures

I find solace in her sand, the velvety softness running through my toes, like quick sand, reminding me of what time I have left of this precious life

Her blaring heat calls for presence, too hot to think past or future, forcing me into right now.

The winds; she blows sand in my eyes, my ears, my nostrils, my hair, reminding me of the uncontrollable nature, that I am at the mercy of.

I cannot control her, she is a wild, erratic force of her own- capable of death, decay & destruction

She’s a mother, a lover, a giver, to the creatures that rely upon her sustenance.

Like babies to a teet, and when you’re done, she’ll test your stamina & willingness to survive, by casting you into the pit of independence

The strongest feminine force I fear- loving & nurturing one day, dry & barren the next.

Respect her, offer to her, sustain her

She’s been here for eternity, watched the humans come & go, nomadic tribes paying homage to her wild beauty

The undulating beauty is a spectacle to behold. Her erratic ever-changing nature an initiation into softening & surrender

Bow down to she, the almighty
